This issue arises more often when alien is itself at different elevation than your soldiers.

Visual difference when you can hit the enemy and when you won't hit the enemy isn't clear enough. However, such shots are bound to miss every time, because you are on a wrong elevation level. You are targeting alien, it seems highlighted. Here is an example which confuses a lot of people. It is something which had really frustrated me for a turn or two while my soldiers were missing every shot until I figured this out and I'm as grizzled gaming veteran as you can find. While there are a lot more issues with this game that I discovered from short demo, I will focus just on this one as I believe it is the most important thing which you should solve or during game's release you will see similarly confused and frustrated people as you had seen during release of this demo. If there is one thing you should improve with this game, it is its targeting. X2 is a complex game with a huge number of UI elements, so anything you can give us to help improve the experience is really helpful - many thanks.Ī reminder - if you haven't been able to play the game yet then a brand new demo is available on Steam during the Steam Festival

Any general comments or thoughts on the UI?Īny feedback you have is HUGELY appreciated. Any information that you need which the game isn't giving you? Is there anything you found really hard to grasp initially? Is there anything which doesn't behave as expected? Are there any specific actions that you feel are hard to perform in the game? Some questions for you (please do try and be as specific as possible when you answer - screenshots can be helpful if you have time): Hello - we're currently looking for feedback on the game's UI/UX and it'd be ultra helpful if you could post that in this thread to keep things in one place.
